  GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS.

CONTENT :

The purpose of this website is to give the fans the opportunity of getting to hear or re-live the vibe and uniqueness of the h natural shows.

All audio shows are, of course, professionally recorded, mixed, equalised and mastered (as you would do for "regular cd releases") and are available here, as quality MP3's [192 kbps, stereo] encoded with a LAME software or in FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) which is a file format that offers CD quality audio.

(You can learn more about FLAC files in the relevant Software section above or here : http://flac.sourceforge.net/. Also due to the large size of the FLAC files and the extra cost associated to them to be delivered over the Internet, we're sorry that FLAC purchases will be more expensive than MP3 purchases.)

As much as we'll try to offer you most of the gigs, we're not able to provide you, yet, with a precise timetable nor a detailed list. The only way to keep in touch with the hottest news is coming back here often or alternatively subscribe to the newsletter below, so you don't miss the thing.

As well as the audio, we do plan to provide an even wider experience with video snippets when available of a couple of shows in high Quicktime format (.MOV).

You will find info about the shows, setlists and special bonuses (PICTURES and full DIARIES read by h), the latter being available only to registered visitors.
We do also invite you to write your own reviews in the review section!

For people who want to hear more than one show the more you download, the less you will pay!
Learn more about all the POINTS system in the relevant subject above.

If you want the basics of the full site summed up and sent to you in your own language, please send a mail to one of the following addresses in the selected language: english@h-tunes.com, french@h-tunes.com, spanish@h-tunes.com, german@h-tunes.com. Those are automated respond mails, so you will only get a text file back gving the important points to start with. Do not use those emails for any other enquiry are none of your messages will be read there.

Steve Hogarth. Voice and Piano: An organic evening of music, rock n'roll diary excerpts, lyrics and conversation.
8th Nov 2005

For many years, people have been asking me if I ever planned a one-man show. I told them it was a good idea. Since then, I've been a bit busy, but I have found a little time in February 06, so here goes.. I'm jumping out of the plane.

This won't be a tight, well-rehearsed, "professional" show. I want the atmosphere to dictate what happens. I'm going to arrive with a list of songs that have been important to me. These are things I wanted to say when I was young, things I've written over the years with the Europeans, How We Live, The h band, and, of course, Marillion.

I'll play some songs. (Hopefully I'll remember how they go..). I might read real-life rock n'roll reminiscences from the diary. If I'm in the mood, and you are too, we'll chat for a little while. If you ask me a decent question, I'll answer it. If the atmosphere is good, I'll keep going - perhaps for hours.. Let's see where it takes us.
